Last updated: August 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by Photo Revivals, a trading name of TimeZone Business Ltd.

By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About us

Photo Revivals is a trading name of TimeZone Business Ltd, registered in England and Wales.

Registered office: [REGISTERED OFFICE ADDRESS]
VAT registration number: [VAT NUMBER]

2. Our services

We provide services including the digitisation of photographs, video, cine film, audio and other media, together with slideshows, photobooks, prints, framing and other related services.

The services available, together with prices and any relevant options, are described on our website or confirmed with you before an order is accepted.

We will provide the service you have ordered with reasonable care and skill.

3. Quotes and prices

Where a service requires a specific quotation, the price will be confirmed before work begins.

Prices shown on the website are subject to the scope of the service described. If we identify additional work that is reasonably required and would affect the price, we will discuss this with you before carrying out that additional work.

Unless stated otherwise, prices include VAT where applicable.

4. Placing an order

An order is accepted when we confirm that we will carry out the work.

For work arranged following an enquiry or quotation, the details of the service, price and any agreed requirements will be confirmed with you before work begins.

We do not normally require a deposit. Payment is due when the completed work is ready for collection or delivery, unless otherwise agreed.

5. Customer's media and property

You remain the owner of any photographs, tapes, film, discs, digital files or other personal material you provide to us.

You should not provide us with original material that is irreplaceable without first considering the risks associated with handling and transporting it.

We take reasonable care when handling customer property. However, some older or damaged media may be fragile and may deteriorate or fail during processing despite reasonable care being taken.

Where we believe that an item presents an unusual risk, we will discuss this with you before proceeding where reasonably possible.

6. Digitisation and quality

The quality of a digital transfer or scan depends partly on the condition and quality of the original material.

We cannot guarantee that damaged, degraded or poor-quality original material will produce a particular result.

Where a source is technically unsuitable for processing, we will explain the issue and discuss the available options with you.

7. Customer-provided digital files

Where you provide digital photographs or videos for use in a slideshow, photobook, print or other service, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights or permissions to use that material.

You must not provide material that is unlawful or that infringes another person's copyright, privacy or other rights.

8. Slideshows, photobooks and other creative work

Where a service involves selecting, arranging or producing content from material supplied by you, we will work from the instructions and material you provide.

Where appropriate, we may contact you to clarify your requirements before completing the work.

Once a personalised creative product has been approved by you, changes requested after approval may incur an additional charge where further work or production is required.

9. Prints and framing

Prints and framed products are produced using the specifications and materials agreed with you.

Colours may appear slightly different between digital screens and physical prints due to differences in screens, viewing conditions and printing processes.

10. Completion and collection

We will provide an estimated completion time when your order is accepted.

Completion times may vary depending on the type, condition and quantity of material involved.

Where you have arranged local collection, we will contact you when your order is ready.

If your order is being delivered, we will agree the delivery arrangements and any applicable delivery charge with you.

11. Digital delivery and cloud downloads

Where cloud download is included with your service, we will provide access to your completed digital files using the agreed delivery method.

You are responsible for downloading and keeping copies of your files once they have been made available to you.

Cloud download is provided as a convenient method of delivery and should not be treated as a permanent backup service.

12. Customer files and retention

We may retain digital copies of files for a limited period after completion where reasonably necessary to complete the service, resolve an issue or provide an agreed follow-up service.

Unless otherwise agreed with you, we do not provide an ongoing file storage or backup service.

You should download and securely store your completed files once they are made available to you.

13. Payment

Payment is due when the completed work is ready for collection, delivery or digital delivery, unless another arrangement has been agreed.

We accept the payment methods stated at the time of ordering.

Ownership of physical products remains with us until payment has been received in full.

14. Cancellation and refunds

Your statutory rights are not affected by these Terms & Conditions.

Where you have the legal right to cancel an order, we will provide the cancellation rights and information required by law.

Some services may be subject to exceptions to the normal cancellation period, particularly where you have specifically asked us to begin work during the cancellation period or where personalised goods have been produced.

Where work has already started at your request and you subsequently cancel a service where cancellation is permitted, you may be required to pay a reasonable amount for work already carried out, as permitted by law.

Personalised products made to your requirements may not be eligible for cancellation once production has begun where the law permits this.

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

15. Problems with an order

If you believe that something is wrong with your order, please contact us promptly and explain the problem.

Where a service has not been provided as agreed, we will discuss the appropriate remedy with you in accordance with your statutory rights.

These may include putting the service right or, where appropriate, a reduction in price.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory consumer rights.

16. Liability

We take reasonable care when handling customer property and carrying out our services.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

We are not responsible for loss or damage resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We are also not responsible for the condition or deterioration of original material where this results from its existing condition, age, damage or inherent fragility, provided that we have taken reasonable care in handling it.

17. Events outside our control

We will not be responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as equipment failure, interruption to third-party services, serious technical problems, extreme weather or other events that could not reasonably have been anticipated or prevented.

We will make reasonable efforts to minimise any resulting delay and keep you informed where appropriate.

18. Complaints

If you have a problem with our service, please contact us first so that we have the opportunity to resolve it.

We aim to deal with complaints fairly and promptly.

19. Privacy

Information about how we collect and use personal information is set out in our Privacy Notice.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The version applying to your order will be the version in effect when your order is accepted.

21. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
